Coaching Built on Experience, Structure, and Belief
At Made to Fit, we believe success is not about fixing yourself—it’s about building systems that work with who you already are.
This work is grounded in lived experience, decades of education, and a deep respect for how different minds learn, adapt, and thrive.
Meet the Founder: Paul Halewijn
Made to Fit Coaching was founded by Paul Halewijn, a father, educator, and former athlete who understands firsthand that the path to success is never one‑size‑fits‑all.
With over 30 years of experience in special education and an extensive understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Paul has dedicated his career to helping students—and now adults—with ADHD and learning differences move beyond accommodation and into empowerment.
During decades in the classroom, Paul developed his own curriculum rooted in structure, discipline, and celebrating achievement. He saw that when students were given clear expectations, consistent support, and room to take pride in progress, their confidence grew alongside their skills. This approach consistently proved more effective than rigid, state‑mandated systems that failed to account for individual differences.
“I’ve walked this path personally and professionally. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you succeed on your own terms.”
- Coach Paul
As a former Cal State Fullerton collegiate wrestler and Olympic Trials competitor, Paul brings the same grit, focus, and perseverance from athletics into his coaching philosophy. He believes that progress is built through steady effort, accountability, and learning to trust yourself through challenge.
Paul was later diagnosed with ADD himself and raised two daughters with ADHD, teaching them using the same structure he refined in the classroom. Through this, he has witnessed—both professionally and personally—how the right support can transform frustration into confidence and confusion into clarity.
A Philosophy Rooted in Real Life
This coaching is not theoretical. It is shaped by real classrooms, real families, and real adults trying to navigate work, relationships, and responsibility with ADHD & ADD.
At Made to Fit Coaching:
There are no generic productivity systems
There is no pressure to “fix” who you are
Progress is measured in confidence, consistency, and self‑trust
Every client’s plan is built from understanding how ADHD shows up in their daily life—then creating structure that supports growth without shame.
